Dreamwalker is a story rooted in Country, spirit, and resilience following Mungala, a Gooniyandi warrior who journeys through time, space, and the Dreaming in search of her stolen child. A love stronger than time, a will more powerful than death.

Over the past four years, @pael_network has been building long and lasting relationships with the deadly @senatorfatimapayman . She has always listened deeply, walked with our First Nations and Pacific leaders, and inspired us all, especially when standing up, is not always easy, seeing such strength empowers us as young peoples.

Unfortunately, I missed her this year! Thank you to @mikenzieann for gifting her our comic co-written about a strong Matriarch in my family by @mollyhunt4food and illustrated by the deadly @chriswoodink

As Fatima shares across the board, that:

Our deadly cohort of First Nations leaders as part of @pael_network visited the deadly mob at @tjabal.centre on Ngunnawal country at @ouranu who put on a big feed and shared the important work they are doing. Shout out to Aunty @anne139martin and their team for welcoming us into their space with such warmth and love. Furthermore, we had the honour of learning from Vice President of the First Nations Portfolio at ANU, Professor @peteryu836 ✊🏽

Professor Peter, shared a vision of a new world that our young peoples need to hear, regarding the elevation of our economic position as Aboriginals peoples across this country, and how through economical structural reform we can solidify a sustainable future as major invested stakeholders funding a better future for our peoples, and our planet. I want to recognise his continuous work behind the scenes and look forward to building upon this relationship to share with our Pacifica brothers and sisters who are searching for all tangible means of protecting their islands, lands and peoples from the many challenges that have been affecting them and continue to affect them.

On behalf of our cohort of young leaders, thank you to Professor Peter and to Aunty Anne, who is a Yuin woman from La Perouse, south-east of Sydney and our deadly Elder, who both without hesitation welcomed us in and spent the afternoon sharing, connecting and building upon what I believe will be a long and lasting relationship!
